St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks an Associate Director of College Counseling to begin July 1, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service.
Position: The Associate Director of College counseling is responsible for a) Counseling up to half of the members of the junior and senior classes and their families in every aspect of the college application and selection process, b) coordinating Standardized Testing, and c) participating in professional development to enhance your knowledge of post graduate opportunities.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and four to six years of experience in college admissions and/or college counseling. Additional desired attributes include outstanding written and verbal communication skills, extensive knowledge of colleges and their programs, exceptional time-management and organizational skills, general flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member. Experience with Naviance is preferred.
