The Lab School of Washington seeks a full-time Middle School Social Studies teacher for its 7th grade Global Citizenship course. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and experience teaching social studies to middle school students with learning differences. The ability to effectively engage students in the stories and interconnectedness of history, current events, laws, and social institutions, using an experiential and multi-sensory approach, is a sought after attribute. Ideally, the candidate will have teaching certification in the District of Columbia, or be eligible and/or willing, with support, to complete the requirements for this certification. All faculty and staff employed by Lab must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or submit an official medical exemption.
