St. Andrew’s Episcopal School seeks a Lower School Learning Specialist. This full-time, benefits-eligible position will oversee the Preschool through grade 5 internal support team to coordinate intervention services and facilitate grade-level student learning profiles and academic accommodation plans among other duties.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in an educational field; at least five years of experience in classroom teaching or administration in a school setting; a high level of interpersonal and leadership skills to work with staff and parents dealing with sensitive and confidential issues; and a commitment to the belief that all children can learn and succeed in school. The Learning Specialist reports to the Co-Heads of the Lower School and serves as an advisor, facilitator, and coordinator on issues and services relating to the educational well-being and individual learning plans of students enrolled or pursuing enrollment to the school. This is a full-time and benefits-eligible position that begins August 16, 2023.
