The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, MD is seeking candidates to fill the position of Upper School Vocal Music Teacher and Theatrical Music Director. This position has the potential to be full- or part-time. A full-time teacher will be responsible for all or nearly all of these roles listed below. A part-time teacher will be responsible for a subset of these roles: Teach and direct Middle School Chorus, preparing students for a Winter and Spring Concert, as well as other performances throughout the year; Serve as Music Director for high school musical (Sept through Dec) and middle school musical (January through March),
