Bullis School seeks a Long-term Substitute Middle School Math Teacher from mid-September through mid-December of the 2022-23 academic year. Candidates should be capable of teaching a wide range of learners with a specific focus on implementing a robust and engaging curriculum in mathematics. This position involves teaching 5 sections with class sizes ranging from 12-15 students.
Successful teachers at Bullis are energized by curriculum development and are grounded in current learning theory. Middle School math teachers are committed to a wide range of teaching approaches to reach a diverse student population. Candidates should be able to creatively integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement while working in a one-to-one student-laptop environment.

Education and Experience
- Experience teaching in a technology-rich environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (required)
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Education or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in middle school education (preferred)
- Teaching certificates are not required
