Learning Specialist
St. John’s College High School is seeking a learning specialist to begin in the 22-23 school year to work as a full-time faculty member in our Benilde Program, which is the school’s program for students with mild learning differences. Students in the Benilde program attend a direct instructional period focused on developing and strengthening written language, reading comprehension and verbal communication skills within the context of the curriculum. During this instruction, students are taught strategies to improve higher-level reasoning skills and self-management. Students are motivated and engaged in the learning process. Currently, four faculty work with individual grade levels, and the director oversees the students and the program and is assigned a group of students.
