Beginning August 2022 The Lab School of Washington, for students 1-12 with language-based learning differences, seeks a full-time theatre arts teacher for the coming school year. The Lab School's arts-based curriculum employs a project-based approach to developing both small, informal productions as well as those of a larger scale. The ideal candidate has experience in both professional theatre and teaching. MFA or MA in theatre or theatre education a plus. Sought after attributes include excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills, a well-demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a deep knowledge and affinity for the works of Shakespeare and a wide variety of dramatic works. A nurturing, patient, flexible nature is essential as is a w
