Lowell School, an age 2 1⁄2 through 8th grade school in Washington, D.C., is seeking a compassionate Director of Primary School to inspire the students, faculty, and staff of the division, beginning July 2022. Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Primary School will assume the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Kindergarten through 5th grade division. This person will serve as the educational leader for the Primary School, embracing, articulating, and implementing the school’s mission and values while promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, partnering with parents, and supporting the professional growth of faculty and staff.
